Introduction to Women's Surgery Department:

 

Providing care and health promotion services to patients with internal diseases of women, women's surgeries, post-natal care and cesarean section. The women's surgical department has 33 beds in the field of admission and admission from patients undergoing cesarean section or Other gynecological surgery and pregnant mothers who seek medical treatment.

 

Department Manager:

Mr. Dr. Mohammad Mohsen Akhavan Azari as Head of Department of Women's Surgery and Dr. Ghanbar Abbasi as Director of Department of Women. Ms. Shadi Shams is also working as head nurse.

 

Section structure :

Includes 9 double bedrooms and 13 completely separate rooms and 2 private rooms with a shared lounge and a kitchen with a total of 33 active beds. Rooms with rooms 202 203 204 205 206 207 211 212-230 231 229 228 227 Private rooms and rooms 208 209 210 225 226 224 223 222 221 The twin rooms and the 201 room include two private rooms alongside a shared hall and a kitchen with amenities and a furnishings and TV set.

The section also has 2 rooms, 1 cleanroom, 1 dirty workroom, 2 sheltered rooms, 2 storage rooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 dressing room, 1 staff room lounge, 1 wheelchair maintenance room and a greenhouse in between Two nursing posts with a table and chair for use in the departmental and women's group sessions.

Also, 2 rooms of women's ward as an isolated room for admission of infected patients and 1 room equipped with necessary equipment for admission to pre-eclampsia patients.

 

 

Women's Surgery Department Staff:

Includes a head nurse, a nurse or midwife as a constant shift in the morning along with a total of 25 nurses and midwives, 16 nurse assistants, 2 secretaries and 5 service personnel in the sector in various shifts. Usually shifts in the morning include 7 nurses or midwives, 4 assistant assistants and 2 secretaries and shifts of the age including 4 nurses or midwives, 4 assistant assistants and night shifters including 4 nurses or midwives and 3 assistant assistants who work according to the plan. .

 

 Hospital Room Facilities in Women's Surgery Department:

All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV, telephone, refrigerator, and bathroom and sanitary facilities. Upper beds of each patient have central central and central oxygen suction and a patient's own ring and a serum connected to the bed and table at the bottom of each bed. And there's a small specialty for the patient, and a large cabinet for patients' devices, as well as a sofa bed, for resting alongside the patient in private rooms and the upstairs chair next to each bed in the twin rooms.

 

 Isolated room

At the end of the corridors section (rooms 212 and 231), infected patients are hospitalized at the physician's request in the isolation room; the isolated room has two entrance doors one in the right direction for the patient and the parents and the door to the left of the entrance of the staff and the doctor. There is a square doorway at the entrance to the left door. In the case of patients, cases of cesarean delivery or normal delivery, curettage discharging and cerclage, patient after file and bed reservation in the women's surgery department, first go to the delivery room and after the operation with the nurse is transferred to the women's ward.

In the direct admission of the clinic or the clinic, the patient will then file a case for admission to the hospital and enter the department with the receptionist.

The patient referred to the emergency department doctor's admission card and after receiving the file and coordinating the emergency department with the women's department for taking the bed, the patient, along with the emergency nurse, goes to the department.

 

Nursing measures after the patient's arrival to the women's department:

In both cases, direct and indirect acceptance of the file is made and after contact with the doctor and with the knowledge of the height and weight of the patient, the necessary steps will be taken for the patient. In the case of surgery, with the coordination of the physician, after informing about the type and time of operation, the notice sheet is completed and sent to the operating room, and if necessary, the doctor needs treatment such as blood reserve and routine or specific tests, Consultation, ECG, Chest X-ray, IV Implantation, Prophylactic Injections, Exercise Scheme, etc., and after obtaining the required patient's and patient's satisfaction, eventually on the day of the operation, the patient is wearing an NPO Accompanied by a nurse and a helper, they go to the operating room.

 

In the case of patients, the necessary measures will be taken by the physician's order, which will generally be done by checking and controlling vital signs, IO  checks , FHR checks ,   NST checks , performing the required ultrasounds, counseling, and other necessary instructions.

 Lactation Training :

In the surgical ward of women, according to the conditions of most of the patients who have given birth, all stages of lactation training from the birth of the baby until discharge are fully performed through well-respected nurses in a fully and continuously during the hospitalization period and all necessary training And a comprehensive overview in this area to address the problems of mothers.
