 Introduction Section:

The technique of angiography is commonly used in the imaging and diagnosis of blood vessel disease in the heart and brain. The most common technique is XRay Angiography .

In the past, angiography was used to diagnose the pathology of blood vessels, but now cariologists are using this method to carry out very delicate invasive surgeries in the circulatory system, especially the arteries. Angiography is a process that provides the most accurate possible information from the vessels and before The surgeon gives this surgery. Based on this information, the physician can treat some diseases without the need for open surgery and if necessary, open surgery will help the surgeon to carry it out quickly and accurately, and the best conditions Provides safety for the patient.

Head of Department: Dr. Ghasemi Head Nurse: Mr. Jalali

Internal phones: 2193-2197 Direct telephone: 88571083

The center is equipped with the most advanced angiographic equipment and measures such as cardiac angiography and organs and brain, cardiac catheterization, angioplasty (coronary arteries, carotid arteries, lower limbs and abdominal aorta) using balloon and stent, pacemaker implantation, Heart valvuloplasty, EPS  and ablation  ,  ASD and  PFO closure, and vascular embolization for patients.

Location of angiographic section in hospital

The angiography section of Laleh Hospital is located in the first floor of this hospital, adjacent to the CCU and ICU OH units and the heart and general surgery room. If angiography is needed, an emergency surgery is required due to the proximity and proximity of this section to the operating room. Take

Section entries

To enter the angiographic section, there is an entrance door. The first door for the entrance and exit of the client and the second door for the entrance and exit of the personnel, and the third door, which has an electronic eye and is larger, is for entering and leaving the patients.

It should be noted that there is a red line at the beginning of the two entry doors to the section of the law. Personnel are required to change shoes and clothes before entering the department.

Angiographic room

Patients are transferred to the angiographic room after delivery and evaluation, and the necessary training is provided to them by nursing experts. This room is equipped with an anchor bed and C.ARM located in the middle of the room. To the right of the room there are several shelves and cabinets for catheters, guides, guides, stents and balloons in different sizes. A large box containing serums, medications and equipment is also available. The left-hand side of the room is also a trailer code, a portable suction device, a perfector, an EPS machine    and an injector.

Technical room

The angiographic room runs through a large metal door to the technical room. This room is a space where radiographs of angiography have superchips that have three-phase UPS power that is cooled by two split machines. It should be noted that the cooling units are 24-hour bright.

Control room

This room overlooks the angiographic room. The angiographic room is visible by a leaded glass inside the control room. This room also has a recovery room. Two LIVE and Reference monitors are available for viewing the angiographic stages and two ECG monitoring and patient pressure in the steering wheel. In this CD room, the patient is checked by a radiologist / radiologist after the completion of the Wright procedure. The patient's name and specification are checked by a specialist and after being assured of being safe, it is given to the secretary for delivery to the patient.

Infection control in angiography

Washing hands alone is the most important way to prevent infections in the hospital. In the angiography section, there are facilities for washing hands with water and soap or Hand rub with alcohol solutions. Hand washing is done in this section in accordance with the hospital policy.

Reuse of disposable products

All tools and equipment, disposable after use for safety yellow bags will be thrown and elimination. This is part of the guidelines for the angiography section. Before using the tools used, all sharp objects should be removed and placed inside the      safety box .

After using the sterilization kit and re-usable tools, they should be washed and disinfected. Patients should be provided with the necessary training to do this.

Safety against radiation

The booklet of the executive code of the radiation protection law and the rules for working with radiation in rayon diagnostic centers for the study of personnel is also available to all.

How to accept:

At this stage, accurate identification of the patient is absolutely necessary in order to avoid possible mistakes. According to the hospital policy, this identification is carried out with 2 identifiers. (Introduced by the patient himself, through the case, through the bracelet)

When we accept, we control the following

Then a brief explanation is given to the patient about the stages and how to perform the catheterization. Patient education is also very important at this stage. After giving the necessary training, the papers will be provided by the patient and the card will be placed in his case.

Patient transmission:

Transmission to angiographic room and patient preparation

The patient is transferred to the angiographic bed by the stretcher and immediately ECG is monitored. I set my head for the patient. The desired location (groin or patient's hand) is carried out by the nurse and drops. During the catheterization, the necessary measures are taken according to the physician's order for the patient.

Patient Transfer to Recovery

After the completion of the work, the patient is transferred to the recovery room. If the patient is only catheterized, the arterial device is removed in the recovery room and if angioplasty is performed, the articular device is sutured and heparin dressed. Then, in the department, according to the order of the physician, after the check PT and ACT device Goes out

Transmission of patient to department

The Stable patient is to transfer the patient to the post of secretary will contact angiogenesis and coordination takes place. A nurse responsible for the patient will be referred to the angiographic department with the help of a grower, a stomach and two sand packs. The nurse of the angiographic section reports all the steps taken to the patient, as described in the transponder orally, for the nurse's coat post. A nurse checks for pancreas and peripheral pulses, the lack of blood lactate from the pancreas, and the presence of hematoma in the patient. After ensuring that the condition is stable , the patient moves him to the post cath section
